Ways You Can Contribute to Matrix Foundation

As the holidays approach and thoughts return to giving, we wanted you to know there are several ways you can contribute to the efforts of the Matrix Foundation, the not-for-profit organization that works in cooperation with AWC.

1. Simply go shopping! Sign up and shop online at www.iGive.com – be sure to designate Matrix Foundation as your charity of choice. A portion of all your purchases will be donated to the Foundation. Lots of top-notch shopping options to choose from!
2. Roll over! If you act now, you may still have time to roll over one of your IRAs directly to the Matrix Foundation. Do it now (before the end of 2007) and you’ll pay no taxes on that IRA distribution. See your IRA fund administrator for more details.
3. Be traditional! Just plain old giving of money is still very popular with us. And it’s easy when you do it online. Or you can send your tax-deductible donation (check or money order) directly to Matrix Foundation at 3337 Duke Street, Alexandria, VA 22314.
4. Be studious! Donate to the Matrix Foundation Barbara Ericksen Memorial Fund, and help send a deserving AWC student member to the AWC national conference. Or, contribute to your local scholarship program by designating your AWC professional chapter when you send in your donation.
5. Give yourself a gift! Apply to earn your CCP – Certified Communications Professional designation - and get recognition for all your hard work, experience, education and expertise in the communications world. Get more information here.
